I have just published Linda's article "Stamp Out War: Support Ukraine!" which can be seen in our Articles area. It is a great article and well worth a read. You will enjoy it.

Hello all,
I just want to share with you a striking news about the auction of the 2022 Ukraine Support Maxicards, which have been entrusted to a stamp specialist based in Vancouver, after the online eBay auction had ended.
You can see the archive of their prices realised in their weekly auction here:
https://allnationsstampandcoin.com/aucti ...
The Ukraine Support Maxicards started being auctioned off from 23 September onward. So this past Saturday was the second auction for these cards. And guess what, the highest price realised so far is $110 for Germany and Ukraine (1996)!
The auction is going well for other cards, as every card was sold at a price above my set target, that is $20. But $110 is really way above my expectation! And while that Ukrainian varieties are in demand is kind of easy to expect, but why is the German one so popular? Does anyone has a clue?
Anyways, take a look at the results if you are interested.
Linda
Bravo!
Hello everyone,
My name is Linda. I am a Canadian artist and stamp collector who was recently introduced to Stamporama by my philatelist friend at The Stamp Forum. I am also the organiser of the global initiative Stamp Out War that aims at showing solidarity with Ukraine using postage stamps.
https://www.stampoutwar.com/
I have come to this place mainly to buy stamps that can be used in my project(s), but to my surprise and great pleasure, I have found a wealth of nice exhibits and articles to widen my philatelic knowlege. Thank you all for this lovely gift!
I myself have recently contributed to a new exhibit and a upcoming article (submitted today) about Stamp Out War project. If you have a few minutes to read them, I would very much appreciate any comment / complaint about any aspect of this project.
The submitted article is the newest version rewritten based on my previous newsletter article sumbitted to Terry Watson's journal North American Maximaphily. It contains extra paragraphs that I did't include in the previous versions.
The exhibit is 'truncated' to 20 pages to avoid taking too much space on Stamporama, but if you go to the project's website, you can find the pdf of the complete version (24 pages) under the auction section.
There you can also find the catalogue to the upcoming online auction that will be held on eBay starting 14 June, and a presentation slide that aims at explaining the project to the general public.
Here on Stamporama I have purchased a number of lovely yellow flower stamps that I look forward to use in the 2023 edition of Stamp Out War.
Just wondering if anyone has any (philatelic) connexion with the the following countries?
- Central Africa Republic,
- Greenland,
- Libya,
- Somalia
I have stamps from these countries but I can't find anyone to help me getting the desired postmark of the 24th of August, which is Ukraine's national day. Any suggestion would be much appreciated.
