These are referred to the same as the US "Plate Blocks" and yes they are very collectible. As far as price, I would suggest checking Hipstamps or Ebay for listings. My catalog is too old to even suggest a value for any of them.

Forget the catalogue on the plate blocks of this era. They trade on the basis of face value. You might make the odd sale for over face to someone who wants to fill a hole, but if you have quantities, resign yourself to a discount from face value. I buy thousands of dollars face every month in collections.
As for the FDC, I'm $5.00 bid, but if it weren't signed, it's $1.00 retail, and I don't need any more.
