I received several RT cancels on cover from the tour of South Africa in 1947 by King George Vl and family
What is a good reference for collecting the cancels of the Royal Visit? How many different cancels are there t collect? I know very little about the tour except via the internet .
If this is the beginning of a new collection for me I am going to need suggestions

Look for a copy of this pamphlet. It covers 1947 and others. I paid £5 for mine (which is in a box since our move), so it won't bankrupt you!
