Anyone want a cachet cover commemorating 100 years of Checker Motors?
Let me know before I leave the show today!
Hi Randy,
If it is not too late, I'd like one of those caches.
Regards ... Tim
You got it Tim!
I picked up 5 - they all have stamps from the Train Stations set.
When I return home I will post a pic of them and you can choose the one you want.
I'm in Detroit for a show at the Fox Theatre.
Thanks Randy.
You’re in Detroit for a show not a Tiger’s game?? Tell me it ain’t so! LoL
The Fox sure is a beautiful venue - hope you had a great time!
Well, the Kalamazoo Show was a success - for dealers and collectors alike.
Here is a pic of the special cacheted covers with special show cancels;
The only person who took me up on the offer of one was our illustrious webmaster Tim, who is now the proud owner of one of the above covers!
If youre not familiar with Checker Motors of Kalamazoo, Michigan you can read about it here:

And finally, here's a few pics of an actual Yellow Cab/Checker auto that was at the show;
...and a response to Theresa:
The Fox Theatre was beautiful!
We went with the grandkids for a live stage production of the Australian animated cartoon series "Bluey", which both of my granddaughters absolutely love!
(I kinda like its humor as well!)
So glad that you had a good time!
I miss Kalamazoo, my hometown. Sounds like the Stamp community is thriving up there and that’s awesome.
Dr. Stryker was quite the innovator/inventor. His name lives on thru the company.
