President Reagan fulfilled his promise to nominate the first woman to sit as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.
This cover was well received, as well:
Note the tie-in with the cachet and the 15-cent Fort McHenry flag. That 15-cent stamp is my favourite United States stamp.
