Am thinking this is a Greek revenue stamp. From the period 1941-44. Possibly from the collaborationist government.

Will check latest Barefoot catalogue.

General Revenue stamp. (Words on top line: Greek State. Second line: General Revenue)

1943.

Perf 12.5

Barefoot 485.

Five stamp set: 5k, 10k, 25k, 50k, 100k.

Catalogue value of 7.5 pounds sterling in 2002. Mint condition.
