The canx it self was made by Star Stamp Company of Dover, N. H. I was able to find the Star Stamp Company's Cat. (see scan)
Deblois & Eldridge were a New York Real Estate Company.
Does any member have a right & proper this canx on an instrument?

Looks to me like the "IR" overprint is printed on top of the cancel. The overprint also doesn't seem to match the photos of the actual overprints in the Scott Specialized. Specifically, the font on the image here appears to be too thick.

I enhanced the stamp using the scanner software which makes it easier to see on a monitor.
