I haven't seen on a collection, but I swear I have seen while soaking kiloware, and also the white pasty glue (Elmers?).

If I were you I'd be a little careful if you see stamps fastened to cover or piece in an unusual way, you never know if you have a stamp that was printed on gum side. I know it's unusual but possible. I have a Canadian stamp (460fi) on gum side and all it is is a bit shinier than usual! Sorry, can't do a scan!!!
"and also the white pasty glue (Elmers?)."
"I worked for two stamp dealers and have seen collections come in with all sorts of ways to attach stamps to album, scotch tape, glued, masking tape, paper clips, and unknown."
Is "uknown may be DNA", is this a joke? I don't understand!
