Kind of a mini-stamp collection, but WW included. Front and back. All used stamps except for the 22 cents upper right that was actually post markded on the envelope.
Phil! That's gotta be worth a lot of money because one of the stamps is INVERTED!
My outgoing mail, any day of the week!
The remains of a package I received recently... two sides of it were completely covered with Roosevelt coil stamps and of course Mr Sharpie did his evil deed!
And to add insult to injury... I decided to soak them off the cardboard today. And they were on the package with Glue Stick! So somebody spent that much time gluing stamps on a package!
I've had a few incidents over the years!
Maybe 10 years ago a well meaning clerk told me that those were valuable collector stamps and I shouldn't use them! I advised him I was a collector and they weren't worth more that postal usage!
About a year ago I went to a post office on my way somewhere... the clerk looked in astonishment and asked, "Are those really stamps?"
At my local post office they are used to my colorful packages. The clerk just rolls his eyes and says, "You don't expect me to add all that up?" I tell him no, it's got $2.86 postage on it... he replies, "I'll take your word for it!"
Some of you know Will Battles from various chatboards or Hipstamps...we see one another a couple of times a year at the stamp shows around Albany N.Y. He has a mini U.S. stamp collection on this envelope. Does anyone have something similar ?
