My goals are to stop buying too many more stamps and sort through and organize what I already have. I still have a significant amount of kiloware that needs to be soaked, but like to do that when the weather is warmer. Anything I do buy I want to try to limit to single better "investment" grade items for lack of a better term.
Using something like EZstamp to create a inventory is something I should do. I won't actually call it an achievable goal yet.

I hope that 2023 is the year that I get to add the 200,000th stamp to my collection.
My goals
- Finish my custom Machin pages
- Get back to my A Stamp from Every Country pages
- Start buying again and make progress on certain countries like Indochina area up to 1980.
Goals? Goals are for work! Not for a hobby!
My goal is to wander off where ever an interest will take me. And I never know what will happen next! That's the fun of it for me.
Thanks, Theresa. Thought-provoking and timely discussion thread. Identified three philatelic objectives for 2023.
First, continue to clean out the stamp room closet (a project my daughter and fellow collector initiated in the fourth quarter of 2021). We're about 60 percent complete. In the process have donated tens of thousands of stamps and assorted philatelic items to fellow collectors, youth groups, and veterans organizations.
Second, learn how to scan and post individual stamps and other philatelic items to SOR. (Concluded late last year the internet is likely to remain in place.)
Third, continue periodic SOR postings highlighting affordable and accessible collecting opportunities.
Who's next?
Organize, organize, organize, then dispose of unwanteds.
Hi Everyone;
My resolution is to eat less and get skinny, so they can stuff more stamp albums in my coffin!!!!
still just sortin'

My goal is to organize my boxes of Red Cross covers and cancels ...Hmmm that was my goal for each year since 2019
oh dear !!!
Happy 2023 to all my stamp pals here in Stamporama!
Have you set any stamp goals for next year?
My resolution is to finish selling the bulk of my duplicates within 3-6 months - maybe trading or donating what doesn’t sell. Selling to me is a once in a while deal - I don’t want to have inventories or stores so I price to sell, almost give away common.
After that - INVENTORY! probably will use EZStamp for that - not sure yet. I only collect about 20 countries so I might be able to finish within a decade haha.
How about you?
