re: Turkey Jnn ?

This is one of the Postage Due series of 1871. The black brown border and irregular perforation would make it Scott J34. (Isfila #77)
Telling the Scott J16-20, J21-25, J26-J31 and J32-35 series apart is very difficult unless you have many stamps to chose from, as the perforation is often impossible to make out and the color of the brown / black border hard to differentiate, unless done side by side.
The 25pa stamps are rare and expensive. Used stamps can be more valuable than mint ones based on the denomination. Check the catalogue.

Nicely centered stamp by the way

Thanks rrraphy

That was the exact contention of the person who disputed it, even said it was very difficult to discern the difference

Another lesson learned. Did not even think about the black brown border. Will stick with my W/F.

Also in my old age did not even think about the subject line of Jnn? of course meaning BOB J series.

Love this site, I learn something new everyday.
