How about some scans?
Jim(Calstamp) asked me to post this document with images of the small Hermes heads.

Regarding the scan...
170 = 1 lepton value
171 = 2 lepton
172 = 3 lepton
173 = 5 lepton
175 = 20 lepton
178 = 40 lepton
179 = 50 lepton
While cleaning up my early 20th C album pages, completed some research which I thought might be of interest to other SOR members. This posting pertains to the 1901 "Flying Hermes" series which was inspired by Giovanni da Bologna's famous sculpture.
The stamps were printed in London by Perkins, Bacon & Co.
The basic set includes 14 values: Scott 165 - 178. Further collecting opportunities include two paper types (thick and thin), six watermark varieties (upright, sideways, inverted; plus "reverse" versions of each), shade varieties, and perforation varieties.
All 14 values were printed on thick paper (March - Sept 1901). All lepta values and the 1 drachma value were printed on thin paper (Sept 1901 - 1910).
Sc 165 - 174 (engraved) feature three perf varieties: 11.5, 12.5, 13.5. Sc 175 (engraved) has three perf varieties: 12.5, 14, and compound.
Sc 176 -178 (litho) has a single perforation: 12.5.
Regarding design varieties, Scott includes illustrations/details re two types of the 5 lepta value. However, A. Karamitsos has identified design varieties for the following values: 1 l, 2 l, 3 l, 5 l, 20 l, 40 l, and 50 l.
Individual values as well as the overall set reflect modest catalogue pricing translating to an affordable collecting opportunity.
