I'm curious about the vertically laid stamps, that my Minkus album shows. I have from #19 - #38 except for #21 which is not listed, these are on horizontally laid paper. The only problem is that there are versions of #19 - 28 (designated 19c or a - 28c or a) on vertically laid paper. They are quite a bit more expensive, but not outrageous. I wouldn't trust buying them on E-Bay because I don't know if they would be accurately numbered. I'd love to have a few of them to fill out that page a bit and I'm wondering how many of you Russia collectors out there have had any luck locating them. I'm not trying to buy from you so please don't move this post!

I tried this a few months ago but it got no comments. I'd like to give it one more shot to see if an of you Russia collectors out there have managed to locate this stuff!!

Still no comment, I guess nobody else has these stamps either. I'm not sure how I'll ever get them since I really don't trust most E-Bay sellers to get it right!
Oh well!!!

There are 5 of them coming up on an "agstamp" auction on E-Bay over the next week. I've dealt with them before and they seem to know what they're doing so if the price doesn't go nuts I might throw in a few bids. I've been trying to cut back a little bit lately so I'm not going to go nuts!! Actually they have 17 stamps (lots) I would like to have so I'll probably pick out 3 or 4 that I'd like to get and bid on them. There are a few of the 17, including a couple very expensive items, that I may as well stay away from.
