A recent ebay purchase. I bought it for the "forwarded" marking but the contents are more interesting. Politics in the 1880's and prohibition.

Love it.

Damnation of the poor working stiff imbibing in a brew at the neighborhood bar by the pious, churchgoing do-gooders hooked on their patent medicines full of alcohol, narcotics, or opiate substances. Hypocrisy anyone ?

Remember that snorting cocaine was popular until it became illegal in 1914 - LSD did not become illegal under Federal law until 1968....
