I should have mentioned in my OP there isn't any gum!
You know when you are at a stamp show and find something totally fake, but you buy it anyway. It only cost a dollar. Here's a sheet of newspaper stamps (fake of course).
I asked the dealer about the background story (all stamps have background information), the dealer said he bought it in France, (this was when I was stationed in Germany).
Face value $1.39, values 2 cents, 3 cents, 4 cents, 6 cents, 8 cents, 9 cents, and 10 cents 4 each value.
15 x 15 perfs. Unwatermarked again it's a fake.
It is suppose to be Scott Cat. IN number N4 1875 series.
Do any member have other examples of this fake, and or background information?
