If you Google it, there is a tonne of information on the Company.
Mostly recent on google!
This is a little off the topic but it does tie in. While doing a bit of research on a book I'm trying to write it became evident how much travel was done by steamer in the late 1800's and early 1900's because of the condition of the so-called roads of the time. You would think lots of mail would have been carried by steamer and cancelled on board. Is this accurate or was almost all the mail cancelled in the towns?
I have a few of these cancels, is there any members who are interested in these seeing these cancels?
Does any member have background information on this company?
