As they used to say in Thailand Number One!
These are fantastic! Thanks for sharing them!
I thought I would share two new pages for my Thailand 1940-1983 album. This was the last page I had to finish before starting my Siam 1883-1939 album. These stamps were used in the four Malay states that Japan gave back to Thailand after the Japanese invaded both Thailand and Malaya. Thailand joined the Japanese Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere after surrendering to Japan. The Kingdom of Siam had ceded these states to Britain in 1909 when both Britain and France were taking bites out of Thai territory, a bit like Russia taking bites out Ukraine. There is an even rarer set of stamps in Arabic script made for use in Kelantan in 1943. The second page shows a suspect piece of possibly "printer's waste". These stamps are of course of interest to both collectors of Thailand and Malaysia.
Thanks to Clive as always for the AlbumEasy software that allowed me to mount the stamp with the printed selvedge inline with the other stamps.
