Now things have taken a upward turn. So I'm happy to announce I'm back in SOR and I look forward to working on my own stamps in the months ahead.
I've also gone back to school to get my fluency in French and I've just been offered an opportunity to get my PhD in Humanities.
So I started my 40s in hell and I'm ending them on a high note.
I look forward to being active again here on SOR, it's been home to me since it's very early days.
Thanks to everyone who has stayed on contact with me and put a smile on my face when I really needed it.
It's sad to have read through the closed albums but we'll always remember our SOR family.

Sorry that you have had 8 years of such life-changing events. You survived!
I had no idea that you had broken your back. This must have happened during one of my absences.
Good luck with your schooling. I hope you'll have time to work on your own stamps. It sounds to me like your platter is going to be fairly full.

A Service Dog gives a person with a disability independence. Never approach, distract or pet a working dog, especially when (s)he is in harness. Never be afraid to ask questions to the handler (parent).

After a long delay, I am back! The past 8 years have been a crazy time. I've dealt with breast cancer, lost my grandma in 2014 who was everything to me. Then my Mum in 2015. Then my Dad in 2020, both of whom were my biggest fans. In January 2021, I broke my back and was laid up for 6 months. Then January 2022 hit with covid which set me back another 6 months.
Now things have taken a upward turn. So I'm happy to announce I'm back in SOR and I look forward to working on my own stamps in the months ahead.
