They had to put in a pick line for the antibiotics as they were having problems finding a good vein.Then they had to drain some fluid that had built up behind my knee, so in the wars at the moment .

Wishes for a speedy recovery Brian! I spent 18 days in the hospital with multiple blood clots and every infection known to man after having my right knee replaced. Met with the Orthopedic Surgeon this past Wed. who wanted to know "What do we do next?". Answer: "Nothing - Ever!!"

Back home again ,have Home Hospital 3 times a day each one gives me 3 intravenous drips ,leg is still sore but is improving as I have stopped the pain medication.
Should have been lying on a beach in Bali at this time BUT!!

Well it looks like we wil not be going overseas again ,due to my cellulitus condition ,I never know when it will playup again ,and if I declare I hate to think what the travel insurance will be ,even not declaring it the cost varied between AU $960 to $!666 ,we could have had an extra week for that .So from now on it will be Aussie holidays.

Sorry to hear that Brian. I would hate to hear what insurance would cost me for a holiday in Britain. The free National Health Service doesn't kick in until you been back there for six months.

There I was going great guns recovering from my operation, then I get cellulitis in the leg they replaced the vein in,so I'm back in we were supposed to be going to Bali on Monday ,not now that's been put on hold.
