Theresa, I don't think there is.
I normally write paid on the copy invoice I keep.
Once it is shipped I click on "Shipped". Ok it doesn't show up as paid on the system but if I see "Shipped" then I know its been paid if I have to look back at a later date.
It is a pain when a buyer doesn't mark it as paid.

That new invoice option to view unshipped items is really helpful though. I use it like you do. I know if it isn’t shipped, it isn’t paid, but my neatnik tendencies want things sorted and tidy.

Is there a way for the seller to mark an invoice as “paid” or is the buyer the only one able to do that? This isn’t a high priority issue for me, I’m merely curious if there is a way to do this that I’m overlooking.
