I was just thinking along those lines...i have not been everywhere..but i have seen a bit...Uncle Sam showed me Texas, Mississippi, Nebraska and Italy, I must have been to the Netherlands probably a dozen times since 1966...still have not seen it all. I was hoping to go East and see Austria and Prague but things get in the way, funerals, covid etc; but i have a good imagination thanks to stamps.

At one time i wanted to visit Guatemala...i don't think thats going to happen..or i would be going alone.

" Besides a bucket list top choice of visiting the Galapagos Islands ("Las Islas Galápagos") I'd love to see Pitcairn Island while enroute to the French Pacific Islands (Tahiti, Bora bora etc.) I did visit our Samoan Islands, the Fijis, all three Tokelau Atolls,
as well as Tarawa, and Kwajalein and many other Central Pacific islands and atolls."
If I sell the property in Lecanto, (FL,) for enough, that is still a possibility, and I'd send a properly stamped, addressed postcard to all who want one. We plan to spruce the well used house up a bit and then put it on the market, so stay tuned to this station.

I got a crick in my neck last week trying to explain the evolutionary implications of the unusual shape of the turtles' shells to a visitor.

As far as travel..the last 2 1/2 years have been a blank and for us and right now with covid, inflation etc; things don't look all that promising for a couple thats a youthful 83 years of age. One alternative is to spend a fraction of what we would spend travelling on decent stamps and covers...i believe my wife is already doing so. So it looks like a win win to me..just need the nerve to go down to the scrooge McDuck vault !
