Some of these overprints were used exclusively for revenue purposes. I suspect that is what you have.

Smauggie have also checked "Revenue Reverend" which has good listings of British Guiana/Guyana revenues and there is nothing there. Have sent an enquiry to the Guyana Philatelic Society as well so will see what they say.
It looks as if it is Sc# 1458 - 1986 issue for 'International Year of Peace' with the wording on the overprint missing.
Dambrovski, I did wonder about that but on the "Int. Year of Peace" ones the "120" is almost twice the size, so still a mystery. The Guyana Philatelic Society has an email that no longer works so I am running out of ideas.
