Rose Red. Hex:BF3033 (Pink red)
If you count the perforation holes on the top side of the stamp you will count 25 of them.
So
26 perforation holes = FRIEDENSdruck
32 A a yellowish red
32 A b carmine
25 perforation holes = KRIEGSdruck
32 B red carmine
So yours is 32 B only one color. CV Mint Never Hinged 220 euros and Mint 65 euros
Interesting point here is that your stamp 32B was only sold in BERLIN at the special collector counter.

Very interesting HockeyNut. However, did you mean 34a? I'm using Scott numbers.
Also, where did you get the info re:number of perf holes. Genuinely curious.
The translation of the colours from German into English is not quite right.
There are two colours:
-dunkelkarmin=darkcarmin (the UV lamp shows yellowish red or carmine)
-rotKarmin = red carmine
You have the description in the Michel and Michel Colour Guide catalogue.
On your stamp (25x17 holes) the centre of the stamp should be type II. (see catalogue)
Something is wrong.
Gerom...you completely lost me. What do you mean "something's wrong"?
There is nothing wrong here.
I marked the areas with a red circle in this stamp and they correspond with type II picture gerom.
So it is Michel number 32B with centre piece type II.
And Michel 32B is Scott 34a
(I found that on this website : https://www.germanstamps.net/collection- ... )
Thanks Hockeynut! Closure!
Bye the way,

Excellent site !
Remember that if you collect german stamps.
HockeyNut you have better eyesight than me.
I didn't see the 2 cutouts in the center.
I thought it was type I center.
Colors can be tough. The choice here is either rose red, or carmine. When I can't clearly ID, I usually take the lowest valued stamp. In this case, there is quite a difference in value between the two colors. Any opinions? BTW, the stamp has not been hinged.
Thanks in advance.
As an aside, I tried posting this nearly identical query on the Postage Stamp Chatboard (May not be verbatim, but substantively identical), and got banned for 30 days by Glen Stephens for not following the rules. But he doesn't tell me what rules I broke. My second time. Too bad, that forum has some pretty knowledgable folks, especially related to British Commonwealth stamps. Arghh!
