Especially look at the picture of the block of 6, with yellow lines added, showing the CA across the block. Some of your Hong Kong stamps will look like one stamp of this block of 6, and they will be Wmk. 373.

Several QEII stamps have been residing in my "problem" tub. Perhaps now they will migrate into an album.
thanks for the reference to the previous discussion. Something I just realized is that for the denominations up to $1, the 373 watermark orientation is opposite from the 314 watermark for each denomination.
I have come across some stamps were it is difficult to detect which watermark is on the stamp using the standard fluid method (I use clarity watermark fluid). Mainly with some of the British Commonwealth stamps. For example I have a few Hong Kong QEII definitives from 1973 that can be either watermark 314 or 373. For some of the stamps from that set I can not see the watermark clearly enough to determine which one it is. Is there some better method to try?
