Here are scans of the folders.
These were issued to celebrate 90 years of the First Japanese stamps by the Japanese Post office.
They were not valid for postage so do not appear in Scott's or Gibbons.
If I remember correctly there are 12 different sheets .
Thanks for the information. Now I have another "treasure" hunt to go on to find the other 10 sheets!
I found these two mini-sheets in an old album. Each has its own folder. I could find any reference in Scott's. Each stamp has a Japanese character on the reverse - probably to mark it as a reprint. Any information on these would be appreciated. I have a feeling they may be souvenirs of a 1961 stamp show of something similar. The scans appear to be quite dirty, but they sheets are clean and on very thin paper.
