Lovely pair you got there.
I love this variety. In December 1941, the colour was changed to bright purple, and this block shows the much less scarce medal flaw on the middle right stamp
Hi smauggie
The scarlet variety is extremely difficult to get in this condition and centring and one of my finer stamps.

Hi Dave
Very nice block of 9. I do not have the mauve variety, hopefully I will find one in MUH soon. The reason behind the blurry image is because it was a scan sent to me from a stamp specialist, when I received the item, I sent the stamp to Chris Ceremuga for certifying (a formality with all my scarce and rare stamps), when I get it back I'll rescan it and repost the stamp.

Hi Dave
I wish, he is very expensive and it takes months, I gave him 5 stamps to certify, it took him 14 months to issue certificates, but his certs are world renown and are very detailed, is it worth the wait, Not really, but I do need those certs.
Rob
That is the definition of poor customer service. A few years ago, I sent 20 Falkland Island stamps to THE expert, Stefan Heijtz in Sweden. I had my certs in a week, and sent the lot to auction.
A week, that would have been great if I can find that type of expertiser.

2d Scarlet KGVI Die II issued August 1, 1938. The issue of the Die II stamp coincided with the introduction of the new perforating machine gauging 14.75 x 14.
MUH, this vertical pair is the very scarce medal flaw variety, listed as 184b in Stanley Gibbons and 188e in the ACSC (Australian Commonwealth Specialists’ Catalogue).
The lower stamp has the variety.
