The one on the left is a 1982 Thailand 1.25 baht stamp which was part of a set of ten commemorating the Chakri royal dynasty. There were at that time nine kings in the dynasty and this stamp was the only one not showing a picture of one of the kings. It shows the original site of what was to become the city of Bangkok which was founded by the first king of the dynasty.
The French stamp is Sc. #2962 from 2003.
It's hard to tell the country and face value on this stamp, printed in gold ink they blend
with the picture.
Notice that the cancelation on your stamp and mine is almost identical.
