Discussion - Member to Member Sales - Research Center
The event is the re-scheduled one from 2020 which was cancelled due to the Pandemic.
I have decided to throw 'caution to the wind' and make my first trip to anywhere in 2½ years and shall be attending the event Thursday 24th-Saturday 26th.
If anyone from SOR is going and will be around on those days, then let's meet for a stampchat and coffee !

Just giving this thread a 'bump' in case it was missed. It might get another 'bump' nearer the time too !! 
I plan to visit the show Wednesday 23rd-Saturday 26th at various times.
It does seem like many are having doubts, possibly about Covid and that's quite understandable. It may mean a less busy event.

The wait is nearly over after 2½ years.
My flight leaves soon.
I will be at the Exhibition Wednesday 23rd-Friday 25th and for a short time on Saturday 26th.
Anyone thinking of going, I'd be happy to meet and talk stamps or sip on a beer ! Post here.
See you when I get back with news and views (of the event)

Mike, Enjoy ! I received a letter from the American Philatelic Society inviting me to receive my 50 year membership medallion at the Great American Stamp Show in Sacramento California in August. At first i thought "i never spent that kind of money for airfare and hotel to attend a stamp show" but then again we have been no where since 2019 and a couple of grand is not going to effect my kids inheritance. It just might be a nice vacation !

Hi Mike - I'm planning to go to London 22 on Wednesday afternoon. Not sure of my timing yet, but I should be there by 3. Will you be there at that time?

Hi Neville,
I'll be there most of the day. At 4pm I will be going to the Cinderella Stamp Club Meeting so we can meet at 3pm by the entrance (inside) and/or at the close (6pm). it would be nice to catch up after so long even if only for a short time.
I will look forward to it.

It was nice to meet Neville at London 2022 as well as a host of other online stamp buddies.
Annoyingly, I caught the dreaded virus shortly after the Exhibition ended and had some hard days at home. I also had to cancel my flight back to Israel !
I will be returning on Sunday and will write my report about the Exhibition.
Before then I will be visiting the 'Strand Stamp Fair' this coming Friday in London, the biggest fair in London. This was the event where I first met Neville many years ago !!!

Starting a thread to ask if any British-based member is going to the International Stamp Exhibition at the BDC, London in February ?
