It would be more user friendly if you just provide a link.
Or for people that block ebay, just say what it is...
I should add that I block ebay, amazon and pinterest so that searches aren't full of their crud! When I am searching, I am searching for information, not what ebay & amazon want to sell me, or someone's hopes and aspirations!
I wish I was as PC savvy as many here but I'm not so I do the best I can.
If I knew how to block sites my PC would probably be useless.
I just block those three sites, of which there are many domains. They aren't blocked on my phone or ipad.
Do you mean this ?
And what do you want to say about that.....
That's it!
I did sent a message to the seller, naturally, no reply.
Hopefully no average collector bought it, if someone did, they got what they deserved.
"Hopefully no average collector bought it, if someone did, they got what they deserved."
The average collector can tell that this stamp is misidentified and will not buy, the speculator will buy it and probably not be able to resell it for the same reason.
Most of the time a bargain is not a bargain.
Correct me, if I'm wrong, but I think that this stamp was never sold, just removed from the listings.
Doesn't mean they won't relist it later.
What is the point here ? I can't tell from the picture whether or not it is the re-engraved issue(#103)or not (#100).
Was the original Ebay picture quality sufficient to tell whether it was the original or the re-engraved issue?
Both issues are engraved and yes, the ebay picture was clear enough to tell the difference.
I guess my point is to let the members and fellow stamp collector as well that beware with ebay purchases.
These are the stamps on my Swiss collection, sorry I don't have 103.
You can easily tell the difference by looking at the value figures.
Thank you ,, I've broken down enough old Swiss collections to spot the differences and it would be very hard to believe the dealer doesn't know.... Ebay has become a minefield in many categories. Too bad they shut down the old stamp group that brought this kind of stuff to people's attention. I don't think it was the liability issue so much as the lost sales fee revenue.
