I have used 210 gsm cardstock trimmed to 20 mm strips, one per sheet. This seems to work well in balancing the extra thickness of stamps and mounts.
Scott suggests inserting a filler strip every 10 to 15 pages.
I am working away filling in a Scott International Junior with my doubles as I have time and its starting to be full enough that the covers don't lie flat anymore. I've seen albums that have cardboard spacers between the pages to make the album lie flatter and I have a second binder to split it over. I am wondering if anyone has put spacers in this kind of album before and if so how do you determine how often to insert them. I don't want to do it more than once and am wondering if I just split the pages into two piles and add spacers to fill in the binder or ?
Any advice would be appreciated
thanks
Bob
