What, exactly, is the Federal Republic Folienblatt? The stamp I am looking at is RC 82. I Google Federal Republic Folienblatt and I just bring up more stamps - quite expensive in Euros. Thank you.

Jim, are you saying that he's manufacturing his own stamps?? Can they be used worldwide? Thank you.

Stamps for use in international mail, must be submitted to the Universal Postal Union. A private dealer making "stamps" will never have his stamps officially authorized for use in postage, domestic or international.

Bob, can you post an image of the stamps in question and where are you getting the RC82 reference from?
Folienblatt appears to translate as full sheet or foil sheet according to various net translation sites.

re: Federal Republic Folienblatt RC 82

Folienblatt are selfadhesive stamps that come in sheets like a booklet except that they are not folded. The word Folienblatt in English means Foil leaf. Then there is the Folienbogen, this means foil sheet and Folienstreifen or foil strips. So the word "Folie" or "Trägerfolie" refers to the backing on wich the SA stamps are removed from. SA booklet stamps are called "selbstklend aus Markenheftchen" and the word Folie is not used.

The first Folienblatt was issued 2008 with the flower series and shows the daffodil.
This is a Folienblatt from 2012, Michel 2967.
