I have E-bay set up with all of my common searched saved with an email notification set up to inform me if anything is posted. I just got notified that a copy of Ireland 22A showed up, checked it out and found a great copy at a very reasonable BIN price and grabbed it. The only one of these overprints on the small GB stamps I am missing now is 11A which is quite expensive. Of course I'm missing most of the Seahorse overprints which will be a real challenge! Only 14 Ireland stamps to go to get to my 1955 cut off!

re: Just picked up Ireland 22A (and now 11A)

Just got a very nice copy of 11A from my regular local stamp dealer. He sent along a free copy of an earlier stamp so I can be sure of the color difference. That puts me down to just needing 13 of the Seahorse Overprints to finish Ireland to 1955. It'll still take a while since some of the ones I want are quite expensive, but at least the end is in sight. I mainly just collect the major Scott numbers without the booklet panes and the numerous early varieties. Finding the coils wasn't much fun either. I starting adding to an older small Ireland collection a couple years ago and it has been a really fun ride to get this far.
