Off topic, but every time I see your posts I think of my times at Fort Bragg, NC which was the home of the XVIII (18th) Airborne Corps.
Very cool.
these Pan Am test flights are fabulous; i have a small collection, started after learning what they were, yes, through SOR and Roy.
I recently acquired a cover from the test that Pan Am ran in 1946 to show the speed with which it provided service to 28 Latin American and Caribbean cities. Doing some research turned up the Stamporama article on the test written by Roy Lingen in 2009. It's a great piece delineating how the test came to be and how it was conducted. The covers shown from each city are a wonderful bonus. Once again, Stamporama and Roy come through.
