There are no colour varieties.
Stamp without overprint :issued on 28 February 1920-Bavaria Michel #184 (colour "lebhaftrot bis zinnoberrot")
Stamp with overprint:issued between 6 April 1920 and April 1921.Deutsches Reich ,Michel#125 (colour "dunkelzinnober" shades)

The stamp on the right is a thin overprint variety, (Mi. 125 PF X)value 12€ used.

Bavaria #262 - the only one listed in Scott is vermillion (shown on the left). The one on the right I found (unique among a dozen or so) is carmine (in my judgement).
Is this listed elsewhere? Info on the colour variation? Value?
