It would appear to MY eyes that you have 11180ii missing blue on top and missing violet on bottom. If so, that's quite the find! My 2020 unitrade lists it as $2,000 used. That quoted price is in italics. There are two perfs to consider as well, but no change in value.
I'd get that expertized if I were you.
Peter
Thank you BrightonPete. I was thinking the same thing. I searched the internet but could not find a picture to compare. Does anyone have a name of an Canadian Expert that I could contact.
I did a Google search for " canada stamp 1180ii " and found one very much like yours. You might have got very lucky!
Found it now on Ebay to. You can´t imagine how glad I am that I got the Unitrade this year. If I didn´t I probably would have said it´s bleached and thrown it out.
My cutoff for Canada is 1988, even though I do have most of the newer stuff since I buy the Canada year books. I looked up my copy of 1180, hoping for the best!!! But, no such luck! Not all of us is as lucky as you!! I wonder what I would do with it if I was lucky enough to have it. Technically my Canada ends at 1988, so would I keep it or sell it? I'm really not sure. I always check any 2 cent green Canada Victorias that I run across hoping for a #32. But, even if I found one, would I keep a stamp worth that much money? Again, I'm not sure. What if the house burned down?
the best Canadian expert to contact is : the Vincent Graves Greene Philatelic Research Foundation info@greenefoundation.ca
Thank you timbres. I just printed out their form. So I think I will send it in.

Hey Manfred, wasn’t that one of the Canada stamps I sent you a while back? Hahaha!
Nice to know that going through some random, fairly common stamps can still yield a surprise treasure! Good for you!
Dave.
Found this Caribou issue from 1990. Perf.13.1. Normally I would say to much sun light but the light brown color (fur) has no change to it. The Unitrade mentions the missing colors dark blue and voilet missing,(1180 ci). Any ideas.
