Does this go both ways? Are deliveries from Australia to the US suspended, too?
Glad this came up because I have the same problem and query although I am not in the USA.
Israel suspended mail delivery to Australia and India during the pandemic and no service is available until today. It's about a year now, perhaps more.
However, I have received mail from both countries during recent months and my enquiries to the Postal Service brought no response whatsoever.
I would be curious to know if the Oz-USA route is a two-way thing too so look forward to some feedback to the questions from Partsguy.
I have been sending mail to Oz & India via a third country since the problems started.

we're sending the Aussies some nuclear submarines as compensation
First of all I usually do not look at the "MEMBER INTRODUCTION" part of the discussion board on a daily basis. So I think this thread belongs elsewhre since this is not a member introduction. Not sure what made me take a look today but this was GOOD INFORMATION to know and it probably should be in a category where more folks will notice it. Secondly, this may explain why I small envelope I sent to a buyer in Australia on Septembe 11 has not arrived yet. I sent out a few more in the last few weeks - so they may all may wind up in the Land of the Lost !! Steve
I sent 2 “oversize” envelopes from Canada to the same person in Australia on August 30. One was received September 22 and one is currently MIA.
Dave.
Looking at the actual text of the USPS suspensions:
And the actual text:
*Australia’s service disruption affects Priority Mail International® (PMI), First-Class Package International Service® (FCPIS®), Commercial ePacket (CeP), International Priority Airmail® (IPA®) packets, International Priority Airmail® (IPA®) M-Bags, International Surface Air Lift® (ISAL®) packets, International Surface Air Lift® (ISAL®) M-Bags, and Airmail M-Bags.
**New Zealand’s service disruption affects Priority Mail International® (PMI), First-Class Package International Service® (FCPIS®), Commercial ePacket (CeP), International Priority Airmail® (IPA®) packets, International Priority Airmail® (IPA®) M-Bags, International Surface Air Lift® (ISAL®) packets, International Surface Air Lift® (ISAL®) M-Bags, and Airmail M-Bags.
It looks to me like First Class mail to Australia and New Zealand are NOT affected. Probably because it goes by (slow) boats.
It could be that there are far fewer flights in and out of Australia because it has stopped its citizens from leaving the country. I think this is about to change.
Just today received mail from Australia that was posted 21st. October last year.
Still waiting on mail from Florida from Nov 2020, have given up on that one really, sorry Theresa.
