Hi Tim,
I only use Stampworld for identification and yet I noticed what I thought were more reasonable pricing on their website the last time I looked at it.
Stampworld! Hah!
I too just use this site for ID'ing a stamp Scott's fails to show.
Years ago I was buying "investment" stamps from Jeffrey Needleman. I should have sent most back as they were heavily hinged! But some MNH were of the Falklands War way back. One item he sent was the block of 10 of this stamp. Wow, That's pretty good! $176.40 worth! Alright. So I look around and note that it can be had most anywhere for 50¢. Apparently there are two versions? I can't recall the differences, but that was a let-down.
Hi Everyone,
I use Stampworld.com to keep track of stamps as I add them to my collect. I noticed recently that they seem to have adjusted their catalog values down a little bit. I think this is a good thing as I felt their catalog values were a little high compared with Scott.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Regards ... Tim.
