Put a 10 Euro note into an envelope and mail it to me and I will pay the US$12 to Stamporama via Paypal for you. Couldn't be much easier.
I suspect another of our German or European members would be willing to do the same, if you don't want to mail it to Canada.

I was informed that someone has anonymously paid the membership fee for me, so that I may actively participate for another year. Thanks to whoever it was! However, I do not like to feel indebted to anybody, even for small things, and would have liked to be informed of the offer beforehand.
Besides, I should have opened this thread in the "Club business" area, sorry for that.

As I haven't found yet a safe and cheap way to pay the current fee, I shall have to let my membership fest for the foreseeable future. I liked the casual tone here in the forum, have learned a few things, and hoped I could also help others a little bit. Perhaps we'll meet again. Best wishes, and have fun!

PS: A colleague of mine and big fan of Douglas Adams retires today - hence the inspiration for the message title.
