Harvey, I have started compiling data using the number of current ebay listings vs the number of "Sold" listings (ebay shows 3-months' worth of sold) to come up with a percentage sold. (I know, it would be better if you start with the number of listings during the Sold time period, but you work with what you have.)
I've got 66 countries compiled, with selling percentages (sell-through rate?) ranging from 24.85% for Andorra, to 89.68% for Belgian Congo. Of the 66 countries, North Borneo ranks #41, at 35.52%, just below the average for all stamps sold (of those 66) of 38.37%.

I'm curious if anyone can add to this. I collect several countries and have noticed certain trends. I added North Borneo to the countries I collect and noticed that a few of you tend to post stamps from there on a regular basis. It seems that that particular country is so popular that it goes over catalog on a regular basis while other countries seem to get no bids at all. I've noticed other areas like this. Is there a statistic on the site somewhere that gives the sales percentages per country? Just curious...
