Hi Bob,
It appears to be a harp.
If you google "mystery of Elche" you'll see a number of images showing the instruments including one that's more side on than the view on the stamp.

thanks Nigel c you are right the other views show a harp not the instrument I hoped ( as it would be the only stamp of this ) We should now consider the question answered and closed .
