i have not completed reading many books in the last few years...i spend the time on stamps..but i went to a thrift store with my wife...where else would i look ? The book section. a book looked interesting...City of Thieves about the 900 day siege of Leningrad ..or as the locals called it Piter. So for the first time in a while i quickly finished the book. I decided to google the author David Benioff...and he turns out to be the writer of Game of Thrones.

I prefer to think of George R. R. Martin as the writer of Game of Thrones, Benioff and Weiss adapted it to TV by doing the screen play.

re: City of Thieves

I have now dedicated early afternoon for reading. I have read a series of books on the Marines in Vietnam (issued by Marine Corps) and available in PDF. It took getting used reading from a 10-inch tablet as I dislike reading from a standard computer screen.
