I started collecting Canal Zone about a year ago and you are well beyond me. I still need about 30 stamps and I really envy your #'s 1, 2 and 3. I wish I could help, but I'm more curious if you have some spares lying around. If you do, please email me and I'll send you a want list. If not, well no harm done. Good luck finding the booklet panes!
Edit: It feels great to actually finish a collection. With most of the areas I collect it really is not possible. I did manage to complete the UN up to my 1988 cutoff, but that was easy. Canal Zone is possible once I get good copies of the first three. US, Canada, Russia and Poland are not possible. I consider Nyassa finished since I decided not to both with Lisbon and London printings. Again, good luck! I'm curious how many of you have countries you consider finished. Might make a good thread!
I grew up in the Canal Zone. I collect Canal Zone stamps and postal history.
I collect one stamps! Canal Zone 4 is the overprinted version of US 300, that I collect! These are very scarce on cover as they were in use for less than a calendar year.
I noticed your canal zone cover addressed to 1496 N. High St, Columbus, OH. Since I live in a suburb of Columbus, I was curious as to what house might be at that address. Turns out, whatever house was there is long gone...
Ha! I see that a lot when I look up old addresses. Old Atlantic City isn’t there any more.. when I’ve looked up old grand hotels, the entire block is now a casino parking garage!
Here in Exton Pennsylvania, I was reading that the original post office was in the general store at the corner of the two main roads. There is nothing there now. I managed to find the building in an old aerial photo.. where it was is now in the middle of the road, both roads are now multiple lanes.. ah progress!
I collect Canal Zone as well.
I collect all US possessions.
I'm looking for the following Canal Zone booklet panes (not specimen panes). If anyone has one to sell, please contact me.

I collect these, as my daughter-in-law was born there and holds dual citizenship. I'm preparing a "Celebrate Your Heritage" album for her.
I'm looking for several of the earlier booklet panes to complete my collection.
