Wow! Thanks musicman, that is the detail I could not find on the innerweb 
I did find the info on Type i, ii, and iii but almost nothing on the type IV. Thanks for your effort in responding!

You will not find Type 1 or 2 on R155 or R155A! Type 1 or 2 only found on right and proper postage stamps.
The answer to your question is as follows:
R155 is Type 3.
R155A is Type 4.
