These blocks cost me forty cents for each block of four.
They are the captain cook 7/6d.
However, one looks like it is on thinner paper that the other.
Were there two printings on different papers?
For some reason the system will not allow me to upload the front scans in a format of being side by side like the reverse.

There were never any thin paper issued after 1952, what you have there are excellent examples of transparent paper which allows the watermark to show through, this type of paper for the Cook issue is not listed in the ACSC.
Also, you have two types of transparencies showing a variation of "thickness."
Amazingly I do not have this variety in my collection.
Not a bad catch for 80 cents.

Interesting, I notice that Gibbons lists the Used examples of this stamp as worth a little bit more than mint. I have a couple of used ones somewhere.
My stamp club has re opened, and they are having an auction in a couple of months so I will save my pennies and see what is interesting.

Just when we thought it was safe to go back into the water, slam, the gates are shut again. Tennis should never have been allowed to proceed.
I think the bubble has burst on the "missing inscription" on the stamps in the year books. There are still plenty of them at the post offices

I normally do not use SG for pre-decimal Navigators. The ACCC has also re-opened. Arenas are a cesspool of trouble when Covid-19 is floating around as to speak.
I’ feeling a little better though I can barely hold my weight, legs are still very weak.
I knew the novelty will not last long, and hopefully some people took my warnings seriously, and those that have listened and still are listening to the king of rip-off artists, they will sooner or later realise the stupidity has cost them a lot of money.
I will soon be posting some more stamps, but how soon that depends on my current health status.
