On another StampoRama thread, the discussion was about how Scott Catalogue values do not change much year-to-year. True for over 99% of Scott listings, but exceptions to this rule do occur, such as my China B9a sheet scanned above.
The 2022 Scott Catalogue value for China B9a MNH jumped $90 in one year, to $200!
Must be a popular sheet, where demand exceeds supply.

" . .Must be a popular sheet, where demand exceeds supply. . ."
China is now developing and people with steady jobs have a
bit of disposable income for things like pre-1912 classic
issues. It is possible that the 1912 - 1949 issues may also
be of interest and politicly safe to seek out.
The potential demand must be phonemical.
The terrors of the Great Leap Forward destroyed much of
historical value including stamp albums as a part of "old
thinking. Time will tell.
I never thought I would live to see the day when China would
be a true world power.
...and what SG (Gibbons) catalog say?
(9th edition from 2012)
MS 730 number, 10 Oct. 1944, war refugees, 190x110 mm dimension = 200.00 BP for mint, nh sample,
used sample is valued at 225.00 BP.

I just brought home the 2023 Scott Catalogue Volume 2A from the public library, and it says:
Mint never hinged - $200.00 US
Postally used - $350.00
No change in price from last year's catalogue.

Today I will share with the club one of my favorites from my China collection. This is Republic of China Scott #B9a, from 1944, showing war refugees. The 21 Scott Value is now $110.00 MNH for this item.
