Managed to complete creation of initial inventory and want lists using Excel for the Japan album. Currently the album has 927 of 1385 stamps in the album. Added up the 2014 catalog value for the want list and it shows a combined catalog value of just over $105,000 so this is not likely to ever be truly completed but it should definitely be an interesting challenge to see how close I can get. I must admit that I really like the stamp designs especially the issues starting in the mid 1940's.
Added 48 stamps and now have 975 of 1385 items in the album.
New items added today included Scott #'s 498, 513, 514, 515, 516, 517, 519, 521, 527-8, 529-30, 531-2, 535-6, 537-8, 539-40, 551, 554-5, 561-4, 565, 567-568, 569-72, 576, 578-9, 580, 584, 587-8, 589-90, 594, 595, 606, 609, and 636.
Stamps were acquired from a local collector's duplicates.
This thread is useless without pictures and the scott numbers will only mean something to those in the US without pictures
I will work on adding pictures.
I acquired a new old stock Scott Hingeless Album for Japan through an eBay seller about a year or so ago and have been making some progress on the album which was copyright 1975 and has coverage for the stamps of Japan plus Japan - Offices in China, Japan - Offices in Korea, and Japan - Formosa.
Album has spaces for 1385 stamps and souvenir sheets.
