Hi Philb:
Regrettably, I have never found any information about the Philatelic Crusaders for Peace, but I do have one of its covers. Slightly different than yours in that the return address is headed by "Bank of Arts." Mine also out of Egypt franked with lots of stamps, but no contents.
The cancels are difficult to read, but it appears that his cover was posted ca November 1, 1964, very close to the 1964 presidential election and, perhaps, that accounts for the handstamp "Gold + Water = Peace." The center item at the bottom of the franking on the reverse is a cutout of the 1955 U.S. commemorative Sc. 1070.
Given all the stamps and philatelic references, the sender was at least a collector and possibly a dealer. All-in-all, interesting items.
I looked on eBay and there are about 10 different items from this organization now for sale. All priced well out of my range, and, in my opinion, much to high.

FF, thanks for posting...if two of us have one they can't be too scarce...i will not notify American Pickers. This is a partial list of "penpals" that was enclosed among other things.
Hi Philb:
As a FYI, I saw the below on eBay today. It's a reply to the above sender. A bedraggled cover to be sure, but I would bid on it if it were not for the $9 Canadian shipping charge. Kind of a weird listing. Bid amount and shipping in Canadian dollars, but the listing notes the item is in Greece.
I'd like to have it as a companion piece to the one I have. Might email the seller and see if those shipping charges can be reduced to a reasonable level.

A listing photo of the item.

FF, good luck..i hope you find a way to get it !
I Googled this topic and discovered StampoRama; just joined so I could post this.
I, too, have a cover from this group, received in a large lot recently purchased.
I can't read the date of the postmark, but it is definitely after November 1963.
I know that because the cover includes notations about the JFK assassination, including "Alexander the Great Killed John F. Kennedy."
The author seems to be a proponent of several off-the-wall conspiracy theories.
Inside are two postcard-size pieces including photos, slogans, numerology, etc., with more of the same ramblings.
I would be very happy to sell this or trade it for postal history items of more interest to me.
Welcome to StampoRama SimiJack.

I may be interested in your cover. Could you post an image of it?
Thanks.

My posts outlive me !
Heres an interesting cover Philatelic Crusaders for Peace run by a fellow in Greece and mailed from Egypt. This is 1962 long before the internet so penpals were a form of communication. It would take several scans to show the contents...lists of penpals, brochures, prayer cards etc; is anyone else familiar with the Crusaders ?
