The corners refers to the corners of the stamp. The corners are square vs radius.

Both Scott# 3550 and 3550A look identical to me yet #3550 specifies "square corners in its description and #3550A specifies "round corners, spaced". Where specifically on the stamp surface should I be looking for "square or round corners, spaced" in order to properly identify this stamp?
