Ok my man..go for it...scans ?
Sad news that I had not heard.
Earlier this year he gave me permission to use some information from one of his catalogues to use for an article.
He seemed like a nice man and his catalogues excellent.
RIP.
Below is just one of his business advertising labels reproducing a Delandre Poster stamp. There were a number of formats.

Earlier this week, Walter Schmidt died. I'll post a full obit when my friend Joe Ward crafts it.
But, quickly, Schmidt founded the Poster Stamp Society and created the DeLandres catalogues. PSS was in some ways a sister society to the Christmas Seal and Charity Stamp Society, just with a much larger petticoat, catching a far larger number of labels.
DeLandres was, himself, a giant in Cinderellas, creating thousands of labels, many of them in and relating to the First World War. He started by creating various regimental labels for French units, sold to benefit the regiments. Sometimes the money raised even reached the regiments, but, often not. He would have been far more successful if he'd been more trustworthy.
Watch here for more, mostly on Schmidt
