General Philatelic/Identify This? : No photo, just a general question about Ryuku Islands

In my Scott's Specialized Catalog of United States stamps and covers, It also list Ryuku Islands, and there is a section for Stamps of Japan Overprinted by Postmasters in Four Island Districts.

They list the A82- A157 as those stamps, but they do not show what the overprint looks like.
Is that those small Cartouche looking rubber stamp type overprints?

Yes. Scott shows pictures of the overprints for the four districts applied to the stamps in the listings for each district.
